Community Guidelines
Authentic reviews, respectful profiles and photos, reporting, blocking and moderation appeals.
Effective September 22, 2026
Share real experiences
Post useful reviews and ratings based on authentic restaurant experiences. You may share your own food and restaurant photos, relevant opinions and appropriate profile information. Be specific and fair. Do not fabricate visits, copy another person’s review, manipulate votes or rankings, or present an undisclosed promotional relationship as an independent experience.
Respect people and their rights
Reviews, photos, profiles and usernames must not contain harassment, threats, hate, impersonation, spam, deceptive claims, private personal information shared without permission, or illegal or infringing material. Criticism of a restaurant experience is welcome; attacks on people, targeted abuse and attempts to intimidate reviewers are not.
Use a username and profile that represent you without pretending to be another person, restaurant or official service account. Upload only photos you have the right to share. Do not post exploitative imagery, sexual material involving minors, threats of violence or other severe harmful material. Never use the service to facilitate illegal activity.
Report content and block accounts
Use Report on a review or public profile; use the image reporting control when the concern is a specific review or profile photo. Describe the issue accurately. Do not abuse reporting to silence legitimate opinions.
An accepted report of an individual image can temporarily hide that image revision while it is reviewed. Reporting a whole review or account does not automatically remove it. Blocking is a personal safety control that restricts community interactions and visibility between accounts and removes follow relationships. It is separate from a moderation decision and cannot erase copies already downloaded.
Reports do not automatically reveal the reporter’s identity to the reported user. Reporters see only their permitted report status. The reported user sees only appropriate notices or outcome information, not private moderator notes or a list of reporters. A resolved report does not necessarily mean content was removed.
How moderation works
Moderators may mark a report under review without changing visibility, hold visibility while investigating, uphold removal and resolve a report, restore visibility and resolve it, or resolve it without changing visibility. Upholding a visibility removal is distinct from permanently deleting content. Independent holds or restrictions may still prevent visibility after one report is resolved.
Moderators may also permanently remove reported content. Severe illegal or harmful material may be removed immediately. We do not promise comprehensive automated screening or review of every item before it appears. Moderator actions and relevant actor and target identities are audit logged for accountability; private reasons are separate from user-visible messages.
Warnings and account restrictions
Enforcement options include a warning, a 30-day suspension, a 90-day suspension and permanent account deletion. Repeat violations may lead through those steps, but the sequence is not automatic or guaranteed. Craveheads may skip steps when the seriousness of the conduct, safety or law requires it.
Suspensions restrict participation while allowing access to appropriate safety, support and account-deletion functions. Existing content may be separately moderated. Account deletion is permanent; an appeal cannot guarantee recovery of deleted content.
Privacy and legal process
We restrict access to reports, evidence and internal notes to authorized handling. Information may be preserved or disclosed for legal purposes only when required by valid law or court process. This does not create an indefinite archive of all reported content. Ordinary service-provider processing, deletion and operational-record limitations are explained in the Privacy Policy.
Appeal or ask for help
Email support@craveheadsapp.com to appeal. Include your username, the approximate date, the affected content or notice and a concise explanation. Share only necessary details; never email passwords or authentication codes. An appeal does not automatically change the action. For an immediate emergency, contact appropriate local emergency services; this mailbox is not an emergency response service.
